Have you completed an internship, had a part-time job, worked abroad or been involved in social initiatives? Excellent! Be sure to let us know that on your CV, as it may set you apart from other applicants. If you have any certificates or letters of recommendation, please attach these to your application as well.

Complete documents

The following documents should be included in your application:

 

 
  • A cover letter or cover sheet (including a personal photo is a plus!)
  • Tabular CV
  • Copies of school certificates
  • Other certificates (internships, jobs, stays abroad, etc.)
 
Please save all contents in one file (PDF or similar) and, if possible, in the abovementioned order. Arrange your certificates in reverse chronological order, starting with the most current certificate. Place these directly after your CV.
 

Cover letter

The cover letter is the heart of your application and should have a simple structure.
The header should contain your contact details, including telephone number and e-mail address.

In the subject line, please state which type of apprenticeship position you are applying for, as well as the corresponding start date.
If you have had any prior contact with Nordmann, mention this in your first sentence. Afterwards, describe your reasons for applying for the apprenticeship position and why you think you are the best candidate for it. Ask yourself why you want to pursue vocational training at Nordmann and then let us know! Tell us your goals and what you hope to gain from the program, and be sure to highlight any special skills and/or experience you have.
 
End the letter with an appropriate closing line and your signature. The cover letter should not exceed one page.

CV

Your CV should be in tabular form and should not be longer than two pages. It should contain the following:
 
  • Personal details (name, age, contact details)
  • School education (including the names of schools attended and what qualifications were earned)
  • Internships, jobs, stays abroad
  • Special skills (e.g. knowledge of foreign languages, IT)
  • Hobbies/interests
  • Place, date, signature
 
Your information should be categorized and listed in chronological order, with all relevant dates specified. The most recent information should be at the top of each section.
