Nordmann Health Talk on flavors makes a successful debut
Participants received a number of practical insights from the MANE team, as well as the chance to pose questions directly to three of their experts: Renaud Milliard, Sales Director Distribution Flavors & Pharma EMEA, Romain Bachelard, Flavorist Confectionery & Pharma EMEA and Corinne Yven, Business Development Manager Confectionery-Bakery & Pharma EMEA.
Renaud Millard spoke about the unique strengths MANE offers as a manufacturer, including the innovative development center in which MANE creates tailor-made flavor solutions for many different dosage forms.
Romain Bachelard introduced the company’s versatile portfolio of liquid and powdered flavors and explained their different sensory characteristics.
Application Technician Corinne Yven highlighted MANE’s pioneering technologies and solutions, as well as the helpful benefits of its masking aromas. These are ingredients that can be adapted to cover up different flavor deviations (so-called off-notes) in order to make things like medicine taste more palatable. She also spoke about flavors that create a physiological feeling of warmth while also retaining authentic taste profiles, or flavors that deliver specific effects such as stimulating salivation or making the tongue tingle.
Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many of the 33 participants expressed a desire to repeat the webinar and already began discussing potential topics.
