prochem becomes Nordmann Switzerland: a clear commitment to the region

As of now, the Swiss Nordmann subsidiary prochem AG is operating under a new name: Nordmann Switzerland AG. The name change underscores Nordmann's one-brand strategy and emphasizes a strong regional focus.

Back in March 2019, the internationally operating chemical distribution company Nordmann began introducing a uniform brand identity across all of its 25 locations as part of a larger repositioning strategy. Adapting the company’s names is now the next step within the branding strategy. The new name emphasizes both the affiliation with Nordmann and the growth-oriented goals within Switzerland. Nordmann Switzerland AG’s flexibility, areas of responsibility and contact partners will remain unchanged.

Nearly 60 years of experience in chemical distribution

prochem AG was founded in 1963 and became part of Nordmann in 2007. As a distributor of chemical raw materials and specialties, Nordmann Switzerland supplies specialty chemicals to manufacturers in the field of coatings & construction, composites, elastomers, food, personal care, health care/pharma and plastics.

Its globally based raw material producers are represented by Nordmann Switzerland throughout the Swiss market. Nordmann Switzerland staffs 10 employees and achieved around €10 million in turnover in 2020.
