Introducing Sirmax's Green Isoglass® range: a leap towards sustainable production
A key moment in Sirmax journey, for more sustainable practices, was the acquisition of Sirmax New Life in 2019. This strategic move was in response to the growing demand for circular products and led to the acquisition, renovation and expansion of an Italian player with more than 20 years of experience in the post-consumer mechanical recycling business.
This strategic acquisition and the vertical integration between compounding and recycling activities paved the way for the launch of Green ISOGLASS®, a family of PP glass fibre compounds with different levels of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, which Sirmax is able to customize according to customer requirements in different markets.
By incorporating rPP feedstock into the creation of new high performance, low carbon footprint materials, Sirmax aims to create more value from plastic waste and contribute to the global sustainability challenge of turning waste into opportunity.
Sourcing traceable post-consumer waste from municipal streams, Sirmax transforms these materials into valuable resources through an internal process designed to ensure consistency from batch to batch and to maintain the high standards the group has developed over sixty years in the world of premium compounds. The Green Isoglass range is more than a product - it's a vision for a sustainable future. It represents Sirmax's commitment to creating a world where plastic waste is not seen as a problem, but as a valuable resource that can be upcycled in a new form to serve high-end and premium applications in the most challenging projects.
Nordmann is pleased to distribute Sirmax’s ISOGLASS® range, showcasing its shared commitment to sustainability.
