Silanes for coatings applications

Nordmann has been working successfully with WACKER in the field of industrial coatings for over 30 years. Besides SILRES® High temperature silicone resins, HDK® pyrogenic silicas and silikates, the business with organofunctional silanes (OFS) is at the center of this partnership. Two years ago, the product portfolio of OFS was expanded with important new products to meet growing customer demand.

WACKER offers a large number of organofunctional silanes under the brand name GENIOSIL®. Aside from established standard products, the GENIOSIL® brand is home to a series of unique new products. These include alpha-silanes, which are more reactive than their gamma-silane analogues.
