In today's world, the demand for eco-friendly corrosion protection solutions is greater than ever. When it comes to formulating an eco-friendly waterborne anticorrosion primer, the anticorrosive pigment is very often the last component being classified as eco-toxic. In the past, in order to avoid the classification, the only choice a formulator had, was to choose among Zinc free pigments. Zinc free pigments are less versatile and lower performing than Zinc phosphate based pigments.
Based on the patented ‘ACE technology’, SNCZ has developed a unique range of Eco-friendly Zinc phosphate based pigments for most needs:

NECOWELTM 790 – A new waterborne polyester polyol for 2K PU-coatings
The use of waterborne 2K polyurethane coatings play a crucial role especially in ACE-applications as they have to protect the coated substrate mainly from corrosion, abrasion and UV-exposure. Among crucial factors like easy and safe application properties, reproducibility and defect-free surface finishes, the ecological impact of those coatings is gaining importance from year to year.

Nordmann at the European Coatings Show 2025
The international chemical distributor Nordmann will be exhibiting at the European Coatings Show (ECS) in Nuremberg from March 25 to 27, 2025, together with its partners Ergon International, Honeywell, Olin® and SNCZ.
