In today's world, the demand for eco-friendly corrosion protection solutions is greater than ever. Formulating an eco-friendly anticorrosion primer

When it comes to formulating an eco-friendly waterborne anticorrosion primer, the anticorrosive pigment is very often the last component being classified as eco-toxic. In the past, in order to avoid the classification, the only choice a formulator had, was to choose among Zinc free pigments. Zinc free pigments are less versatile and lower performing than Zinc phosphate based pigments.
Based on the patented ‘ACE technology’, SNCZ has developed a unique range of Eco-friendly Zinc phosphate based pigments for most needs:

Nordmann at the European Coatings Show 2025: A look back
From March 25 to 27, 2025, the international chemical distributor Nordmann presented itself together with its partners Ergon International, Honeywell, Olin® and SNCZ at the European Coatings Show (ECS) in Nuremberg. This trade fair is the international platform for paints, coatings, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives.

NORRHEO Organoclays for solvent-based and solvent-free systems
Nordmann offers Organoclays under its own brand NORRHEO. These are used as thixotropic agents in solvent-based and solvent-free systems such as paints and coatings, primers, printing inks, sealants and adhesives, thermosets, and lubricants. They provide high viscosities at low shear rates, optimal anti-settling behavior of solids, good leveling during application, and prevent sagging. The base for NORRHEO Organoclays is natural bentonite, which is purified and modified with quaternary ammonium compounds.
